The joy of booking a flight

I have become a bargain hunter when it comes to booking flights. The tax is SO expensive, it kills me! But as I was playing around tonight, I decided instead of booking a round trip to look at seperate tickets. It turns out it's a lot cheaper and there are so many better options. I also found a great return ticket with$ 1 tax? How is that even possible!? The only problem is it has a layover in Toronto, and my dad who's in the flight industry says Toronto is known for really bad flights(delays, cancelations, snow storms they shut it down, etc) I'm going ot search around a bit more, and if I don't find anything better I think im going to go ahead and book it and just hope i'll have a good experience in TO!

We did this a few years ago and it costed us a ton! We ended up changing things completely because we would have been stuck in London. Our first flight was delayed then cancelled, the following day during the reschedule it was delayed again. We'd already scheduled one day in between flights to be safe and it STILL got us. Good luck but definitely be careful how you schedule them. I will never do it again. Best of luck!

Thanks for the warning. I heard horror stories with the Toronto airport, but i'm trying hard to brush them off! I've flown on the airline before with no trouble, so I hope this will help!

That's what I did- booked it separate! I usually fly out of Buffalo, but have flown out of toronto before with no problems.
